ROLE DESCRIPTION: 
Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Customer Service Representative. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience delivered with southern hospitality and charm. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

As an Agent Team Member, you will be responsible to… 
  • Greet each customer when they walk in.
  • Answer and route all calls.
  • Checking voice mail and creating tasks for team members.
  • Process incoming and outgoing postal mail.
  • Set- appointments & update calendar for team members.
  • Make birthday and anniversary calls.
  •  Assist with planning and setting up events & outings.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. 
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
As an Agent Team Member, you will need to be…
  • Dedicated to customer service.
  • Present a professional & friendly appearance.
  • Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening) to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members.
  • Previous insurance service experience. State Farm experience preferred but not required.
  • Self-motivated
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Bilingual - Spanish preferred
  • High School Diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Property and Casualty license 4-40 or 2-20
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • This position may require you to work certain evenings (for marketing/events) and/or Saturdays.

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
